Official says items pose no danger; pilot is out of the hospital

MONTEZUMA - Plane fuel and chemicals that spilled from a downed crop duster in May are contained in a tank, pile of dirt and absorption booms lying on county land and are expected to be removed within a month, a county official said.
"We have been continually working on this. We're hoping to have this concluded very soon," said Mike Robbins, director of the Mercer County Emergency Management Agency. [More]

Legislation is on Monday's agenda
CELINA - City council is slated to vote Monday on legislation that would make Celina a sanctuary for the unborn and effectively outlaw abortion in the city.
Commission gives OK for first phase
CELINA - The city planning commission on Thursday night approved a site plan review that will allow for the construction of cottages and townhouses on West Bank Road.
