Special Weather Statement issued January 8 at 8:03PM EST by NWS Wilmington OH (details ...)
Snow showers found along a northwest to southeast line are tracking over the same areas this evening. A quick quarter to half inch of snow will make for potentially dangerous driving conditions, especially as temperatures drop this evening and overnight. Visibilities will also decrease to under a mile in some places, creating another hazard to area commuters. As of 8:00 this evening, this line runs roughly from Wapakoneta, to Bellefontaine. Another line extends from Delaware to Pataskala and then south to Baltimore. This includes the northeastern suburbs of Columbus. Additional accumulations may be found later this evening if similar lines of showers continue to develop.

Photo by Aaron Snyder/The Daily Standard

Christmas carolers from the New Knoxville High School Choir sing to young artists assembling a craft in the New Knoxville Library during Christmas in the Village this past Saturday. New Knoxville hosted the annual event, which featured local businesses throughout the village, with different crafts and activities for all ages, including seeing Santa, the Grinch, face painting, coloring, treats, raffles and wine and bourbon tasting.
