Juanita Brandewie
Juanita M. Brandewie, age 85, of Egypt, Ohio, died at 5:00 AM on Saturday, December 25, 2021 at Heritage Manor, Minster, Ohio.
She was born on June 15, 1936 in Yorkshire, Ohio to the late Frank & Rose (Borchers) Langenkamp. She married Eugene Brandewie on September 10, 1958 and he preceded her in death on September 14, 1999.
She is survived by her children: Theodore & Christine Brandewie, Egypt, Bart Brandewie, Egypt, Garry Brandewie, Minster, Lisa & Jeremy Hiestand, North Star, Gina & Edward Bengela, Perrysburg, Tracy & Matthew Eilerman, Ft. Loramie, Jan & Mike Didier, Greenville, 17 grandchildren, siblings: Marlene Bohman, Versailles, Norma & Orville, Bohman, Versailles, Barbara & Harold Suchland, New Bremen, Janet & Mike Suchland New Bremen, Karen & Gary Meyer, Ft. Loramie, in-laws Theresa Langenkamp, Botkins, Marianne Langenkamp, Minster, Connie Langenkamp, Dayton, Jerry Brandewie, North Star, Kenneth Brandewie, Sidney, Timothy & Sharon Brandewie, Wichita, KS.
She was preceded in death by a grandchild, stepfather Werner, sister Rosalie Wendel and her husbands, Ralph Wendel & Hubert Magoteaux, brothers, Eugene, Paul and Jerry Langenkamp, brother-in-law Fred Bohman, infant brother Joseph, in-laws Mark & Sharon Brandewie and Joan Brandewie.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Egypt, St. Ann's Ladies Sodality, Knights of St. John Auxiliary and the Eagles Auxiliary. She was a past CCD Teacher, Communion distributor, Rosary leader and a longtime wedding cook. She volunteered at the Holy Angels Soup Kitchen and was a poll worker for the board of elections. She spent most of her working life farming with her husband Eugene.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 AM on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Egypt. Burial will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster from 3 to 7 PM on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 and from 9 to 9:30 AM on Thursday.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Holy Angels Soup Kitchen Pantry.
