Area fire departments net nearly $143K in grants
CELINA - Six Mercer County fire departments will receive almost $143,000 in Multi-Agency Radio Communications Systems grants, according to a news release from Gov. Mike DeWine's office.

Mercer County's unemployment rates improves
Mercer County's unemployment rate for December improved slightly to 2.1%, down from November's rate of 2.2%.
The county also improved its status from third lowest for joblessness among Ohio's 88 counties to second lowest, according to an Ohio Department of Job and Family Services news release.
