Celina man indicted in child's death
Child had meth in his system

CELINA - A Celina man is charged with numerous offenses, including felony involuntary manslaughter, related to the death of a Montezuma toddler more than two years ago after a Mercer County Grand Jury indicted him on Thursday.
Brandon A. Edwards, 29, was indicted following the conclusion of the investigation into the death of 2-year-old Ezra G. Siegrist, according to a news release from Mercer County Sheriff Jeff Grey. [More]

Another person dies from crash
A man killed in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of State Route 49 and Hunter Road Thursday in Darke County has been identified as Hearold Evans, 86, Fort Recovery.

Gas leak caused U.S. 127 closure
COLDWATER - Coldwater firefighters shut down a section of U.S. 127 for about 15 minutes on Friday due to a gas leak.
Seven firefighters responded at 11:49 a.m. to a report of a gas leak on U.S. 127 between Coldwater Creek and Johnson roads, Coldwater Fire Chief Dave Pinno told the newspaper.
