Alfreda Muhlenkamp
Alfreda A. Muhlenkamp, age 92 of Coldwater died Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at Briarwood Village in Coldwater.
She was born November 22, 1929, in St. Anthony, Ohio to the late Albert & Rose (Welsch) Laux. On May 8, 1948, she married Howard Muhlenkamp who preceded her in death on November 26, 1982.
She is survived by children: Lois (Barry) Copeland of Montezuma, Barbara Viets of Penfield, NY, Marlene Henkle of Grand Rapids, OH, Sandy (Larry) Bivens of Parkton, NC, Cheri (Joe) Weis of Coldwater and Ken Muhlenkamp of Celina; grandchildren, Brad (Christine) Copeland, Adam Copeland (Jennifer French), Doug (Jen) Viets, Andy Viets, Matt Viets, Stacey (Terra) Henkle, Kelly (Jason) Clemens, Chris (Beth) Deitsch, Mindy (Ron) Borger, Beth (Tim) Cruz, Amy (Paul) Jones, Kevin Weis, Erik Muhlenkamp, and Ryan Muhlenkamp; great-grandchildren, Michael & Charlotte Copeland, Jason & Julia Viets, Jack Viets, Macy & Meg Henkle, Townsend, Quentin & Jaden Clemens, Ethan & Braden Deitsch, Drew Deitsch, Landon & Alyssa Cruz, Malachi & Isabella Jones and Emitt & Wyatt Muhlenkamp, and in-laws, Dan (Janice) Muhlenkamp, Marvin Muhlenkamp and Jane Muhlenkamp; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by siblings and in-laws: Helen (Leon) Fisher, Joe (Esther) Laux, Mark (Luella) Laux, Nick (Lavina) Laux, Ralph (Alvina) Laux, Bill (Pauline) Laux, Dennis Laux, Sr. Albertina Laux C.PP.S., Sr. Susanna Laux C.PP.S., Erma (Andy) Beumer, Harold (Vi) Muhlenkamp, Frank (Virginia) Muhlenkamp, Sally (Earl) Wuebbling, Esther (Vic) Homan, Elmer Muhlenkamp, Agnes (Virgil) Wannamacher, and William Muhlenkamp.
Alfreda was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and formerly of St. Anthony Church. She worked at Pullman Bay in Celina for many years.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 Monday, April 4, 2022, at St. Anthony Church.
Friends may call from 1 to 4 PM on Sunday, April 3 and from 9 to 9:45 AM on Monday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater. Burial will follow in St. Anthony Cemetery.
