  COLDWATER - Less than a year after the Fellowship of Christian Athletes held its first-ever All-Abilities Camp in Akron, District 8 coordinator Steve Stroh decided to bring one to Mercer County.
Thirty-one campers and nearly a hundred volunteers turned out over two days at Cavalier Stadium this weekend, where five sections of sports activities were set up for people who are ordinarily unable to participate. [More]

CELINA - A wooden two story home and attached garage were deemed a total loss after a fire broke out Saturday evening in Bayview Landing.
The fire also spread to a neighboring home's attached garage. The firefighters, though, were able to isolate and extinguish the blaze.

District 4 ACME Tournament
MINSTER - Give Coldwater a four-run lead and the Cavaliers are usually unbeatable.
That was the case Saturday as Coldwater plated four runs in the second inning and fended off Minster's attempts to rally to secure the ACME Baseball District 4 championship with a 6-3 win in Minster.

Grand Lake split its weekend games at Montgomery Field to move to 13-16 on the summer.
