Murlin named All-American

Siena Heights senior linebacker Kole Murlin was named a first team All-American in the 2022 American Football Coaches Association's NAIA Coaches honors released on Wednsday.
The Celina High School graduate earned All-America honors for the second consecutive season after finishing fourth in the nation in tackles per game with 11.4 (114 in 10-game season) to go with 11 tackles for loss and 5 1/2 sacks. Murlin was named the Mid-States Football Association's Mideast Defensive Player of the Year for the third straight season.
