Julia Heitkamp
Julia M. Heitkamp, 80, of St. Anthony, died Monday, January 16, 2023 at Briarwood Village, Coldwater.
She was born December 4, 1942 in Celina to the late Leonard and Esther (Rumschlag) Rosenbeck. On May 19, 1962 she married Elmer Heitkamp.
She is also survived by children: Gary (Shirley) Heitkamp of Bryant, IN, Steve (Dawn) Heitkamp of Celina, Deb (Robert) Crouch of Pleasant Hill, Kevin (Cindy) Heitkamp of Coldwater, Tom Heitkamp of Coldwater, Jim (Linda) Heitkamp of Bryant, IN, Rick (Christa) Heitkamp of Ft. Recovery, Brian Heitkamp of Rockford and Rodney Heitkamp and Amy Southworth of Celina; 24 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; siblings and in- laws, Thomas (Carol) Rosenbeck of Coldwater, Roger (Sue) Rosenbeck of Centerburg, Jeanne Lozenski of Milton, FL, Carol (Tony) Roby of New Knoxville, Donald (Mary) Rosenbeck of Jackson Center and Donna (John) Walker of Xenia, Dorothy Chaney of Ft. Loramie, Eileen (Tom) Litmer of St. Joe, Paul Heitkamp of St. Henry, Willie (Barb) Heitkamp of St. Henry, Ruth Sutter of St. Henry, John (Millie) Heitkamp of Tipp City, Ron (Donna) Heitkamp of Coldwater, Ken Heitkamp of Sanford, NC, Jenny (Howard) Homan of St. Marys and Dan (Mary) Heitkamp of Coldwater.
She is preceded in death by four grandchildren; a brother Gerald (Mary) Rosenbeck of Ft. White, FL; in-laws, John Lozenski, Don Chaney, Stella Heitkamp, and Melvin (Evelyn) Heitkamp.
She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, its ladies sodality, Church organist and choir member. Julia enjoyed gardening, fishing and spending time with her family.
Mass of Christian burial will be 10:30 am, Friday January 20, 2023 at St. Anthony Church, Ft. Recovery. Burial will follow in St. Anthony Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 pm on Thursday and 9 to 10 am Friday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Memorials may be made to Everheart Hospice or the Cancer Association of Mercer County.
