Glen Wurster
Glen Albert Wurster widowed husband and beloved father and grandfather died Monday January 30, 2023 in Bonita Springs, FL at the age of 96.
He was born on July 8, 1926 in Celina, Ohio, a son of the late Glen Dale and Thelma (nee Pichon) Wurster.
He had been a resident of Bonita Springs since 1986 coming from Dayton, Ohio where he worked as an electrical engineer for 30 years at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. He was also a World War II veteran, serving the United States Navy as an electrician's mate in Guam on a floating dry dock.
He is survived by his daughter, Julie Cosgrove of Bonita Springs; son, Richard Wurster (Jasmin) of Columbus OH; two grandchildren, Kelly Cosgrove and Jeremy Wurster and sister Juanita Wise of Van Wert, OH as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 67 years, Rita (Borger) Wurster, and brothers John and Charles.
Interment to be held later at the Memorial cemetery in Sarasota, Florida.
