Cecelia Anderson-Carvalho, 85, of St. Marys, OH died Thursday February 2, 2023 at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Miami, FL.

She was born June 11, 1937 in Dunkirk, OH to Marion and Pauline (Owings) Sorgen. On November 24, 1956 she married Robert L. Anderson, who died September 1, 1997. She later married Robert Carvalho on November 3, 2000, who also preceded her in death.

Survivors include: daughter Teresa (Robert) Grant of St. Marys, OH; son Michael "Mic" Anderson of Miami, FL; Step-children Janis (David) Johnson and Rob Carvalho; 4 grandchildren: Wendy (J.T.) Irmscher, Kelly (Jeremy) Coble, Brandy (Tony) Martin, Brandon Burton; Step-grandchildren: Joel and Perry Johnson; 9 great-grandchildren: Brayden, Dylan, Layla, Bostyn, Rylin, Kenley, Brinnleigh, Bronx, Rob; Sister Janet Suchland of Trotwood, OH; Brother-in-law Michael Anderson of St. Marys, OH; Sister-in-law Mary Jane McCall of Falls Church, VA; Numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: parents Marion and Pauline Sorgen; husband Robert Anderson; 2nd husband Robert Carvalho; daughter Robin Burton, brother-in-law William Suchland, brother-in-law David (Alice) Anderson; brother-in-law Donald (Yvonne) Anderson, brother-in-law Alan McCall.

She was a graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School (Class of 1955) and Ohio State Beauty Academy. A licensed beautician, she worked as a stylist for Lois' Beauty Shop in St. Marys for many years. Her favorite pastimes included traveling, playing tennis and researching genealogy. Above all else, she treasured the time spent with her family.

Rites are scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday February 10, 2023 at the Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West) in St. Marys.

Visitation 4 - 7 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Private burial will take place in the Gethsemane Catholic Cemetery in St. Marys.
