Mary Ann Tebbe
Mary Ann Tebbe, 90, of rural New Bremen, OH died 6:27 a.m. Wednesday April 5, 2023, at Hospice of Dayton.
She was born May 19, 1932, in Glynwood, OH to Bernard and Estella (Wendel) Craft. On April 25, 1953, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St. Marys, OH she married Leo J. Tebbe, who died June 2, 2014.
Survivors include: son Mike (Mary) Tebbe of St. Marys, OH; daughter Diane (Mark) Batcher of Beavercreek, OH; son Daniel (Linda) Tebbe of St. Marys, OH; son Allen (Sandi) Tebbe of Bowling Green, OH; son Jerome (Stacy) Tebbe of St. Marys, OH; son Kevin (Sharon) Tebbe of Mt. Gilead, OH; daughter Annette (Michael) Hensley of Lima, OH; daughter Brenda (Samuel) Conley of Exeter, NH; 22 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; brother Kenneth (Judy) Craft of St. Marys, OH; brother Melvin (Ladonna) Craft of Montezuma, OH; sister-in-law Janet Craft of St. Marys, OH; sister-in-law Luana Craft of Wapakoneta, OH; sister-in-law Pauline Reinhart of Portland, IN; sister-in-law Betty Meyring of Amsterdam, NY; brother-in-law Ray Tebbe, Tipp City, OH; brother-in-law Don (Marjorie) Tebbe, Phoenix, AZ; brother-in-law Alvin (Edna) Tebbe, Celina, OH.
Preceded in death by: parents Bernard and Estella Craft; husband Leo Tebbe; son Paul Tebbe; sister May Ellen Craft; brother Victor (Mary) Craft; brother Carl (Ruth) Craft; brother Bernard (Rita) Craft; brother David Craft; brother Don Craft, brothers and sisters-in law: Lawrence (Rita) Tebbe, Eunice (Jack) Tobe, Vic Reinhart, Marilyn Tebbe, Jay Meyring.
She was a graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School (Class of 1950). She worked as a cook at the St. Marys Living Center, sales clerk for Haines Children's Clothing Store, Vanderhorst Cannery and St. Marys Cotton Mill. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and its Altar Rosary Sodality and a charter member of St. Marys Tri-Squares dance club. Her favorite pastimes included sewing, quilting, gardening, fishing, and baking. Faith and family were the cornerstones of her life.
Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday April 11, 2023, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 511 E. Spring Street in St. Marys. Burial will follow at the Gethsemane Catholic Cemetery in St. Marys.
Visitation 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West) in St. Marys. Additional visitation one hour prior to services on Tuesday at the church.
Memorial contributions may be directed to either: Project H.O.P.E., Hospice of Dayton, or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
