Gary "Chud" Bannon, 66, of Celina, Oh died at 7:30 p.m. Sunday June 11, 2023 at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima, OH.

He was born May 17, 1957 in Union City, IN to Clarence Charles and June Bannon Charles.

He is survived by: sister Melinda (Doug) Gambill of Celina, OH; nieces Michelle Charles and Amy Gambill; great-nieces Desirea Riggs and Skylee Riggs.

Preceded in death by: parents Clarence and June Charles; niece Donna Gambill; great-niece Jade Riggs; great-nephew Chance Gambill-Hunt.

He was a graduate of Mississinewa Valley High School (Class of 1975). Chud was employed as a maintenance worker at Kozy Kampgrounds at Grand Lake St. Marys. His favorite pastimes included listening to music and spending time with his family.

Private family services and burial will take place in Snells Cemetery in Hillgrove, OH.

A public celebration of his life is scheduled from 12:00 noon - 3:00 p.m. on Saturday June 17, 2023 at Harter Park (located on N. Jackson Pike) in Union City, IN.
