CELINA - A special prosecutor will be brought in to review a state agency's investigation into a Celina police-involved fatal shooting once the report is completed in four to six weeks, according to Mercer County Prosecutor Erin Minor.

MAC makeup has remained solid throughout its history

In an era where schools change conferences on the drop of the hat on both the high school and collegiate levels, the Midwest Athletic Conference has remained a small fraternity of members and former members.
Only 14 schools can lay claim of being in the MAC over the 50 years of existence. No school has ever been kicked out of the conference. Two schools have left on their own and another merged with another MAC member. [More]
CELINA - Two people have been indicted on misdemeanor charges stemming from alleged abuse at Victorum Learning Center.
Stephanie Lawrence, 42, St. Marys, was charged with first degree misdemeanor assault and first degree misdemeanor endangering children, according an indictment filed on Aug. 17.
ST. MARYS - City council members on Monday heard first reading of an ordinance to donate a property on North Front Street to Auglaize Housing Development, Inc., a non-profit which provides housing and related services to individuals with developmental disabilities.
CELINA - City council members on Monday night passed first reading of legislation to establish a volunteer tree commission.
Once its members are seated, the commission will be tasked with providing direct input on a new city tree ordinance to be considered by city council members.
