St. Henry native escapes Israel war

A week ago, Ryan Mikesell was getting ready to play his first basketball game for his professional team in Israel.
Days later, he was trying to find a safe way out of the country.

Bulldogs share WBL title

WAPAKONETA - The 16th win of the season for Celina was truly a sweet one.
The Bulldogs wrapped up a share of their first Western Buckeye League boys soccer title since 2016 with a dominant 5-0 win over Wapakoneta at Ryan Field on Thursday night.
The Bulldogs (16-1-0) got their 13th clean sheet of the year and allowed just one goal each in their three other wins. The lone defeat came a month ago at the hands of Shawnee, 2-1. [More]
Riders capture split of WBL championship

ST. MARYS - With a dominant win over Bath, St. Marys claimed a share of its first boys Western Buckeye League soccer title in nine years Thursday night at Roughrider Field.
The Riders capped the regular season with a 4-0 win over the Wildcats, finishing the WBL season at 8-1 and tied for first along with Celina and Shawnee. [More]
