Phyllis Maier
Phyllis K. (Ellis) Maier, age 81 of Celina, Ohio passed away on Friday, December 1, 2023 at her residence in Celina.
She was born the daughter of Ernest F. and Lucy I. (West) Ellis on December 11, 1941 in Celina, Ohio. On December 26, 1959 she married Robert E. Maier, who died on August 27, 2008.
She is survived by her two children Kelli R. (Kevin) Fark and Ryan T. Maier She was also survived by two loving grandchildren; Kourtney Fark (Matt Eichelberger) of Galion and Kassidy Fark (Zach Lewis) of Toledo and a sister Ruth Rhoades of Celina.
She was preceded by in death by her Father, Mother, Husband, brothers Ray (Dorothy) Ellis, Walter "Bud" Ellis, Rex (Dorothy) Ellis, Roger (Dorothy) Ellis, brother-in-law James Rhoades and sister-in-law Eileen (Tom) Thompson.
Phyllis graduated from Celina High School with the Class of 1959. She Started her working career at Rankin in Celina then went to work at The Equity and transferred to Sears in Celina for thirty-two years and retired from Chief Supermarket in 1993.
Phyllis was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30a.m. on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, with Mark Maier conducting services. Burial will follow in the Swamp College Cemetery in Celina.
Friends and family may call from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00p.m. on Tuesday and an hour before her service on Wednesday, at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home. Please dress in casual attire or supporting your favorite sports team.
