Scattered snow showers occurring across the area will slowly diminish through the evening. These snow showers will continue to cause brief reductions in visibility. In addition, as temperatures fall, the snow showers could produce a light coating of snow on roadways. This will result in the potential for some slick spots to develop. Motorists should be prepared for changing conditions this evening and exercise extra caution.

CELINA - The Mercer County Historical Society continues to make inroads at the Mercer County Historical Museum following the death of longtime president Joyce Alig.
Alig served as the historical society's president from 1973 to the time of her recent passing in January. She was also museum director from 1975-2004 and wrote numerous books on Mercer County and Midwest Ohio history, as well as a column for The Daily Standard. [More]
