Margie Lou Brookhart passed away on June 17, 2024, at 9:56 am at Mercy Health - St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.

She was born in Celina to the late Earl & Kathryn (Hone) Thomas.
On September 19, 1953, Margie married Rex Brookhart, he preceded her in death on November 18, 2014. Together, they have four loving children, Adina (Eldon) Sell of Celina, Gaylene (Scott) Deitsch of Celina, Alan Brookhart of Celina, and Gina (Neil) Boeckman of Celina. She also is survived by her grandchildren, Lindsey and Brody Sell, Jacob (Elise) Deitsch, Alyssa (Kaleb) Filadelfo, and Makena and Ethan Boeckman; as well as sisters-in-law, Marcietta Brookhart and Eileen Brookhart.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Mildred (Dick) Sheets, Dale (Betty) Thomas, and Marilyn (Dean) Kuhn.

Margie was a member of the Landfair Church in Celina. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, shopping, and helping Rex on their family farm. Margie spent her time caring and supporting her family as a housewife, supporting her children and grandchildren through the years.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm, Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina with Pastor Ken Lehman officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm before the services at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Swamp College Cemetery in Celina.
