Beginning this November, voting moves to new Market Hall

CELINA - The polling site for all 12 Celina area precincts will move from the Galleria to the newly constructed Market Hall at the Mercer Country Fairgrounds, beginning with the Nov. 5 general election.
Mercer County Board of Elections members unanimously voted to relocate the polling site to Market Hall, mainly due to security concerns, deputy director Kristi Rable told the newspaper. [More]

CELINA - Grand Lake mustered a massive comeback against the best team in the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League on Wednesday night, but it wasn't able to ride the momentum to a win.
Hamilton pushed across the go-ahead run in the top of the seventh inning, the Mariners had the tying run thrown out at home in the eighth, and the Joes prevailed 10-9 at Montgomery Field. [More]
