Scattered snow showers occurring across the area will slowly diminish through the overnight hours. These snow showers will continue to cause brief reductions in visibility. In addition, the snow showers could produce a light coating of snow on roadways. This will result in the potential for some slick spots to develop. Motorists should be prepared for changing conditions overnight and exercise extra caution.

Donald Kaiser
Donald W. Kaiser, 93, of Greenville, formerly of Rossburg, passed away Sunday morning, August 18, 2024, at the Brethren Retirement Community in Greenville.
He was born on September 27, 1930, in Sharpsburg, Ohio, to the late Ray and Cora Elizabeth (Keller) Kaiser.
In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his wife, Joanne (White) Kaiser, whom he married on October 7, 1950, and who passed away on September 13, 2009; his daughter, Cheryl Ann Kaiser; his siblings. Harold Kaiser, Eleanor Smith, Paul Kaiser, Eileen Depweg, Malinda Kaiser, Jerry Kaiser, and John "Jack" Kaiser.
Don is survived by his children, Doug (Patricia) Kaiser of Rossburg, Sheila (Greg) Cox of Troy, Bruce (Jane) Kaiser, Scott (Jodi) Kaiser and Todd (Susan) Kaiser all of Greenville; his grandchildren, Shellie (Jeremy) Stump, Annette (Jared) Coppess, Dan (Sara) Kaiser, Derek (Logan) Kaiser, Nathan (Stephanie) Cox, David (Christine) Cox, Emily (Monte) Kindell, Philip Cox and Tiffany, Adam (Audrey) Kaiser, Eric Kaiser and Mallory, Andrew ( Amy) McIntosh, Alex (Stephanie) McIntosh and Cameron Kaiser; his 24 great grandchildren; his siblings, Marie Keaser of Greenville, and Marvin "Bud" (Doris) Kaiser of Fort Recovery; his sister-in-law, Jean Kaiser of North Star; his in-laws, Bill White of Greenville and Charlene (Ralph) Obringer of Coldwater; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He worked for New Idea in Coldwater as its safety director for nearly 50 years. In his early years, Don was a great baseball player, and played in Fort Recovery and for the Sharpsburg Speeds. Don was a former member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, where he spent nearly 25 years as a choir member.
Upon moving to Greenville, he and his wife joined St. Mary's Catholic Church. In his free time, Don enjoyed playing the organ. He had a servant's heart, and volunteered for many organizations throughout the years, especially Community Unity. Don served as the mayor of Rossburg and was a former board member of the Rossburg Fire Association.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Greenville. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Guests may visit on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM and again on Thursday from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus.
