He worked at the Dannon plant in Minster for 29 years and during retirement enjoyed traveling the country installing for Forty Nine Degrees. In addition to his career, John was passionate about music; he played lead guitar and sang for the band Double Effort for 15 years. He cherished time spent with his family, loved watching his grandchildren perform and play sports at Marion Local and Jonathan Alder, and was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers, Cincinnati Reds, and The Ohio State Buckeyes. He spent several years coaching the boys Little League Teams. He loved playing cards and of course winning! You could say he was competitive but that probably was an understatement! He was a member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Cassella and Catholic Financial Life (formerly Catholic Knights of America).
