St. Henry's Quinn Lefeld, seated center, will attend Concordia St. Paul University and swim for the Golden Bears.

ST. HENRY - Quinn Lefeld announced that she will take her talents from St. Henry's swim team to Concordia St. Paul in Minnesota and swim for the Golden Bears next season.

"The coaching staff was super nice. I went for a visit and the team felt like family," Lefeld said. "It felt like home and they made it an easy decision."

Lefeld, the daughter of St. Henry swim coach Patty Lefeld, will look to aid a Concordia program that began swimming in the 2020-2021 season, and it led by head coach Rachel Busch.

"I feel like it is the best fit for her," Patty Lefeld said. "As her coach and her mom I know that (Concordia St. Paul) is going to take care of her. It's a really excellent program, even though it's really new Coach Busch and Coach (Valerie Childs) are doing an amazing job."

Lefeld raced at the Division II state swimming championship in the 100 breaststroke last February and recently competed throughout the 2025 cross country season for the Redskins.

She'll join a program coming off a 33rd place finish at the NCAA Division II Championship. Coach Busch is in her fifth year in charge of the program, and has overseen a seven-semester run where the Golden Bear's were named as a College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) All-Scholar Team and has produced two CSCAA Scholar All-Americans.

For Quinn herself, the journey to becoming a Golden Bear was one not taken alone.

"I thank all of my coaches, my mom, my personal trainer, and my team. I wouldn't be here without them" Lefeld said.
