Roger Kohler
Roger Kohler, age 62 of Wapakoneta, passed Saturday morning, November 15, 2025 at his home.   
He was born March 4, 1963 in Sidney, Ohio to Fred C. Kohler who passed in 2017 and Luanna Schaub Kohler who survives in Botkins.
Roger graduated from Botkins High School in 1981 and attended The Ohio State University, Lima Branch. Gifted with a natural eye for design, Roger found a passion for interior decorating. He managed Embellishments in Wapakoneta, where his talent, vision, and artistic touch brought beauty to homes and spaces. His creativity was one of his greatest strengths.
Roger and his partner, Christopher, were deeply involved in their community. Together, they supported various local charities and were committed to giving back. They shared a love for traveling, discovering new places, and enjoying fine dining experiences along the way. He will be remembered for his generous heart, his artistic spirit, and the joy he brought to those around him.
Also surviving are his siblings - William 'Bill' (Sharon) Kohler of Botkins; Peg (Ken) Fisher of Wapakoneta; John (Gail) Kohler of Clayton, Ohio; Robert 'Bob' (Marcy) Kohler of Botkins; Mark Kohler of Columbus; Martha (Mike) Munch of Rockford, Michigan; brother-in-law - David Dahlinghaus of Minster; mother-in-law - Roberta Niekamp of Celina; sister-in-law - Lori (Kenny) Herman of Celina; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his life partner - Christopher Niekamp; a sister- Patricia Dahlinghaus; a brother - James Kohler; and father-in-law - Cy Niekamp.
Following Roger's wishes no public services are planned.
