The Mercer County Commissioners, Tri Star Career Compact officials and other dignitaries joined OSU Extension 4-H Educator Beth Guggenbiller and 180 rambunctious campers at the Harbor Point 4-H Camp on Thursday afternoon for a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new shelter house. In addition to providing much needed respite during the sweltering heat, the shelter house will host arts and craft sessions, classes and other activities. Tri Star students helped with construction while several organizations donated funds or labor toward the project, including Celina Eagles Aerie #1291, Celina Moose Lodge #1473, Farm Credit Mid America, St. Henry Tile Co. Inc., KLS Construction, VTF Excavation, Stachler Concrete and Koesters Spouting LLC.
