The Red, White and Blue Celebration, working in tandem with the Village of Coldwater's America 250 commitee, hosted a free event featuring a slew of bands, a beer stand, food trucks, and Touch-a-Truck on Saturday evening in Coldwater Memorial Park. Technically, this was the sixth edition of the Red, White and Blue Celebration, which pays homage to and raises funds for local law enforcement and fire and emergency medical services departments. Thongs of people, many donning patriotic attire, crowded the park near the amphitheater. The event has raised thousands of dollars over the last few years for Mercer County first responders through proceeds and T-shirt sales.
