The registration deadline for the November 7, 2023, General Election is October 10. As required by law, those who plan to exercise their right to vote in the November 7, 2023, General Election must be registered to vote at least 30 days before the election. Voters must bring photo identification to the polls to verify identity. Voters who do not provide photo identification will still be able to vote by casting a provisional ballot

Photo identification includes the following documents that includes the individual's name and photograph and is not expired: an Ohio driver's license, state ID card, or interim ID form issued by the Ohio BMV; a US passport or passport card; or a US military ID card, Ohio National Guard ID card, or US Department of Veterans Affairs ID card.

FARM GROUND FOR RENT/PURCHASE

The Village of Coldwater is accepting sealed bids for the rental of approximately 18 acres of ground for farming purposes for the year 2024 thru 2026. The ground is owned by the Village of Coldwater and is located in the Southwest quarter of Section 33, Butler Township, Mercer County, Ohio. Bids must be submitted not later than 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 28, 2023, and shall be opened immediately thereafter in the Council Chambers. Any person submitting a bid must place their name, mailing address, daytime phone number, and the lump sum price for rent. The bid sheet must be placed in a sealed envelope addressed to Village Manager, Village of Coldwater, 610 West Sycamore Street, Coldwater, Ohio 45828.
