Johnston Road Bridge Rehabilitation Project
Sealed bids will be received by the Board of Mercer County Commissioners for a design-build bridge rehabilitation work on Johnston Road in Mercer County. The bridge improvements shall consist of constructing a steel beam bridge deck on rehabilitated capped-pile abutments.
Bids must be submitted to the Clerk of the Board of Mercer County Commissioners, located at Central Services Building, 220 West Livingston Street, Room A201, Celina, Ohio 45822.
Bids will be opened at 1:00 p.m. on April 25, 2023.
Specifications, bid forms, and preliminary plans, with a design build scope of services can be obtained by contacting the Mercer County Engineer's Office, located at 4884 Mud Pike, Celina, Ohio 45822 (Phone: 419-586-7759).
Each bid package must be accompanied by a bid guaranty in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. The bid guaranty shall be in the form of either:
1. A bond for the full amount of the bid, or
2. A certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the Ohio Revised Code equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid. Upon entering a contract, a performance bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the project will be required.
As this is a federally funded project, all bids shall meet all applicable federal requirements, including the correct payment of federal prevailing wages.
A completed bid blank should be submitted on the project, along with all other required forms.
All bidders must be currently on ODOT's list of pre-approved engineers and contractors for bridge level 1 or above.
One contract will be awarded for the project on a unit price basis to the lowest and best bidder.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in Council Chambers at Village of Coldwater, 610 W. Sycamore St., Coldwater, OH 45828.

NOTICE TO BIDDERS
The City of Celina will receive sealed bids for the construction of the Lakeshore Park Basketball Court Phase 2 project.
Bids will be received at the office of the City of Celina, 225 N. Main Street, Celina, Ohio, until 11:00 a.m. March 16, 2023, at which time and place bids will be opened publicly and read aloud. Bids received after 11:00 a.m. will be returned unopened.
Bids will be received on a unit costs basis as outlined in the bid documents.
The project involves the construction of a concrete basketball court, parking, and sidewalk at Lakeshore Park in the City of Celina.
