Notice is hereby given that the County of Mercer will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. in the Mercer County Commissioners Office, Central Services Building, 220 West Livingston Street, Room A201, Celina, Ohio.

Based on both citizen input and local officials' assessment of the county's and city's needs, the county is proposing to undertake the following Revolving Loan Fund activity:

The county intends to loan $150,000 to GLHome, LLC to purchase the business, equipment, and inventory at 223 W. Main St., Coldwater and 561 S. Eastern Ave., St. Henry, Ohio.  GLHome, LLC will retain 6 FTE jobs, of which 5 will benefit LMI persons; which meets the National Objective.

The total project cost will be $350,000 with funds coming from Revolving Loan Fund of $150,000; Equity $20,000; and Private Lender $180,000.

This second public hearing is being held to give citizens an adequate opportunity to review and comment on the county's proposed application, before the loan is approved.
