NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS
FOR PY19 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE GRANT
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of Mercer County will hold a Public Hearing on December 12, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. in the Mercer County Board of Commissioners Office, Celina, Ohio.
The Board of Commissioners of Mercer County intends to apply to the Ohio Development Services Agency for funding under the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Small Cities Program, a federally-funded program administered by the State of Ohio Development Services Agency, Office of Community Development. Mercer County is eligible for $500,000 in the PY 2019 CDBG Community Development Critical Infrastructure Program. On February 12, 2019, the Mercer County Commissioners conducted its first Public Hearing to inform citizens about the entire PY 2019 CDBG Program, how funds may be used, what activities are eligible, and other important program requirements.
Based on citizen input, the PY 2019 CDIS, and local officials' assessments of the county's needs, the county is considering the following CDBG activities for Program Year 2019 Critical Infrastructure Program:
1) Village of Fort Recovery - Broadway Street Reconstruction$480,000 Critical Infrastructure
The Broadway Street Reconstruction project qualifies under the LMI National Objective.
This second Public Hearing is being held to give citizens an adequate opportunity to review and comment on the county's $500,000 CDBG Community Development Critical Infrastructure Application to the Ohio Development Services Agency due on or before December 13, 2019.
This second Public Hearing is open to all residents of Mercer County and any person or organization desiring to speak on this matter will be afforded an opportunity to be heard or seen.

NOTICE OF TIME AND PLACE OF VIEW AND THE FIRST HEARING TO THE OWNERS OF LAND AFFECTED BY THE PROPOSED VACATION
In the Matter of the Shively Ditch #58-8;
To the Owners of Land Affected by the Proposed Improvement:
On the 25th day of October 2019, a petition was filed with the Clerk of Court of Common Pleas of Mercer County to vacate and abandon the Shively Ditch No. 58-8. The substance of prayer of said petition is that the construction of the improement is necessary, will benefit the land owners and will be conductive to the public welfare. The following is the course and termini of the vacation, to wit:
Commencing approximately 660 feet north of the south quarter post of Section 22, Range 2 East, Township 5 South, Hopewell Township, at an existing 12 inch tile on the property line between Robert Fetters and Wayne Shively; thence proceeding downstream in a northwesterly direction following existing tile line to the property line between Wayne Shively and Norma Alt and out-letting into an existing 15 inch tile.
Approximate length of Shively Ditch No. 58-8 is 1,650 feet.
You are hereby notified that the Common Please Court has fixed the 23rd day of December, 2019, at 3:30 p.m., to view the propped improvement. The view will be held (near proposed improvement) Celina Ohio.
The first hearing on the petition will be held on the 23rd day of December, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. on the 3rd floor, Mercer County Common Pleas Court, Courthouse, 101 North Main Street, Celina, Ohio.
