The Washington Township Zoning Board of Appeals, Mercer County, Ohio, will have a variance permit hearing on September 26, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. for Brian Secrest, 6659 Erastus Durbin Rd., Celina, Ohio. Brian Secrest would like to add onto his current residence which then he would not meet the side setback requirements of twenty feet and the setback requirements of seventy-five feet from the centerline of the road. He is requesting a ten feet setback from the side and fifty-three feet from the centerline of the road.

The Washington Township Zoning Board of Appeals, Mercer County, Ohio, will have a variance permit hearing on September 26, 2023, at 7:30 p.m. for Travis Heistan, 6480 Erastus Durbin Rd., Celina, Ohio. Travis Heistan would like to move a 16' x 77' mobile home onto his property to live in while remodeling his existing home on the same property. He is asking for a variance to have two dwellings on one property and be given an adequate time frame to remodel the existing home. Then to have the mobile home removed from the property when the house remodeling is completed.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the County of Mercer will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, September 21, at 10:00 a.m. in the Mercer County Commissioners Office, Central Services Building, 220 West Livingston Street, Room A201, Celina, Ohio.
Based on both citizen input and local officials' assessment of the county's and city's needs, the county is proposing to undertake the following Revolving Loan Fund activity:
1.) The county intends to loan the amount of $88,000 to Rush Basketball Academy LLC dba Rush Sports Complex to purchase equipment located at 6301 U.S. Rt. 127, Celina, Ohio. Rush Sports Complex will create 4 FTE jobs, of which 3 will be offered to or made available to LMI persons; which meets the National Objective.
The total project cost will be $214,513 with funds coming from Revolving Loan Fund of $88,000; Equity $37,513; and Private Lender $89,000.
This second public hearing is being held to give citizens an adequate opportunity to review and comment on the county's proposed application, before the loan is approved.

The Planning Commission of the City of Celina will hold a public meeting on Thursday, September 28, 2023, in the Celina Administration Building, 225 N. Main Street (second floor Council Chambers). The meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m.
The first item on the agenda is a request by RCS Construction for the Celina Apartment Group. They are requesting to construct a community building in the apartment complex off Legacy Lane. Zoning is B-3.
The second item is a request by Celina City Schools for the vacation of Holly Street between E. Wayne Street and Johnson Avenue. Zoning is R-1.
The third, item is a request by Christopher Mohler (Infinite Inspirations) at 712 E. Wayne St., requesting a condition use to operate a non-profit religious church. Zoning is R-O.

Proposed Zoning Change

The Liberty Township Board of Trustees will hold a public hearing on proposed amendments to the Liberty Township zoning resolution. The proposed amendments were submitted by motion of the Township Zoning Commission. The amendments would create regulations for alternative energy systems.
The hearing will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at the Liberty Township house, 9930 State Route 49, Chattanooga, Ohio.

Area Agency on Aging 3 will be holding a virtual public hearing on September 27th, 2023, at 9:30 A.M. for comment and discussion on the agency's intent to seek direct service waivers from the Ohio Department of Aging regarding Title III-C Nutrition Services Program (including Title III-C1 Congregate Meals and Title III-C2 Home Delivered Meals) and III-D Disease Prevention and Health Promotion, specific to the Older Americans Act, for calendar years 2024 and 2025, in alignment with agency bid cycle. Requested amounts are based on 2023 awards as awards for 2024-25 have yet to be released.
For 2024 and 2025, the agency intends to request a waiver for use of service dollars to fund the direct administration of Nutrition Services in the amount of $90,000. Regarding Title III-D Prevention and Health Promotion Services, the agency intends to request a waiver for use of service dollars in the amount of $27,001. Both waivers include the AAA's seven-county region. Waivers are being requested to provide for continuation of care with program determination and navigation specific to nutrition as well as direct delivery and community coordination of evidence-based programming throughout the entirety of the service region.
