Gaylord resident Vic Ouellette, 74, moved into this house with his wife Connie in 1995. He's a retired Shiawassee and Saginaw county deputy. The house was built by his dad, Vic Ouellette, in 1945. They huddled in the basement when the storm was hit and debris slammed into Connie from behind fracturing her vertebrae. "There's always been an Ouellette living here," he said.
