A combination of southerly winds gusting 35-40 mph with relative humidities falling into the 35 to 45 percent range will lead to an elevated fire danger this afternoon into the early evening hours. Be aware of the potential for grass fires that may quickly spread today. Loose objects may be blown around and persons driving should be aware of this potential danger, especially on west to east oriented roadways.
