Parkway Elementary School Penguin Assembly

Parkway Elementary School students on Friday afternoon had some special guests crash their assembly when representatives from the Newport Aquarium from Newport, KY, surprised them with one of their penguin pals Randi and gave an informative presentation. Tyler Westgerdes, a second grader at the school, had made a $5 donation to the aquarium but only left his first name, his location of Celina, OH, and that he would like the money to go towards the penguins. The Wave Foundation, a partner with the aquarium, matched his donation with a $5,000 contribution to the penguin program.
