* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, and west central Ohio.

* IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 15 below zero could result in hypothermia or frostbite if precautions are not taken.

Thomas Faller
Thomas E. Faller, 54, 602 1/2 W. Wayne St., Celina, died at 8:29 a.m. Dec. 1, 2006, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys. Death was due to cancer.
He was born April 21, 1952, in Celina, to William J. and Mary C. Bernard Faller. His mother survives in Fort Recovery.
Also surviving are a fiancee, Becky Cooley, Celina; two daughters, Amy Rainey, Union City, and Dawn (Steve) Merkle, Chesterfield, Ind.; four sisters, Carolyn Siefring, St. Henry, Elizabeth Reichert, Como, Texas, and Mary Lou and Margaret, both of Celina; four brothers, Michael (Linda), Berne, Ind., Spanky (Mary Jane), Wheaton, Ill., Richard, St. Marys, and Joe (Barb), Fort Recovery; two step sons, Steve (Wanda) Cooley, Redkey, Ind., and Michael Cooley, Celina; eight grandchildren and seven step grandchildren.
He was a USDA inspector and a manager at Lakeview Carry Out, Celina. He was a 1970 graduate of Fort Recovery High School.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Dec. 9 at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery, the Rev. Paul Wohlwend officiating. The body will be donated to Ohio State University Medical College for cancer research.
Calling is after 9 a.m. Dec. 9 at the church.
Contributions can be made to State of the Heart Home Health and Hospice or Cancer Association of Mercer County.
Arrangements are by Brockman & Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
