Scattered snow showers will continue through mid morning. With temperatures well below freezing, light snow accumulations will combine with lingering black ice from overnight, to create some slick spots on area roadways. In addition, brisk westerly winds will gust in the 25 to 35 mph range this morning.
If traveling this morning, allow for some extra time to reach your destination. Be prepared for slick conditions, especially on bridges and overpasses as well as untreated surfaces.

Penny Huckemeyer
Penny E. Huckemeyer, 58, 17032 Townline-Kossuth Road, St. Marys, died April 14, 2007, in an auto accident on state Route 29, west of Celina.
She was born Aug. 15, 1948, in Celina, to John H. and Inez B. Monroe Howell. On June 10, 1972, she married Allen E. Huckemeyer, who survives.
Surviving are four brothers, John (Carol) Howell, Angola, Ind., Norman (Lois) Howell and Sam (Mary) Howell, St. Marys, and Bob (Mary) Howell, Wapakoneta; two sisters, Mary (Phil) Kessel, Lancaster, Calif., and Nila Fox, Fort Wayne, Ind.
She worked as a bookkeeper at Noble, Montague & Moul Attorneys, St. Marys. She was a 1966 graduate of Memorial High School, St. Marys, and a member of Spencerville United Church of Christ.
Services are 1 p.m. Thursday at Cisco Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Ron Shifley officiating. Burial is at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday and 12-1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
