* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Helena Kuck
Helena M. Kuck, 87, 106 N. Franklin St., New Bremen, died at 8:40 p.m. April 15, 2007, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Minster.
She was born Feb. 18, 1920, in Franklin, Pa., to Walter Sr. and Lonnie McCandless Moore. On Sept. 14, 1946, she married Myron L. Kuck, who died Nov. 3, 1976.
Surviving are two sons, Don (Jacqui), New Bremen, and David (Jan), Wapakoneta; a brother, Walter Jr. (June) Moore, Albuquerque, N.M.; five grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a step-great-grand-
child.
She was a homemaker. She served in the European Theater with the Women's Army Corp during World War II, working in communications and was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, American Legion Post 241 Auxiliary, and Friends of the Library, all of New Bremen.
Services are 1 p.m. Wednesday at Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home, New Bremen, the Rev. Richard Weir officiating. Burial is at German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen.
Calling is after 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
