* WHERE...The following counties, in Indiana, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union and Wayne, the following counties, in Kentucky, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson, and the following counties, in Ohio, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.

Gerald Buening
Gerald J. Buening, 73, 5089 state Route 219, Coldwater, died July 20, 2007, at Briarwood Manor Nursing Home, Coldwater.
He was born Feb. 12, 1934, in Coldwater, to Aloys and Leona Huelskamp Buening. His first wife, Rita Eyink, died in 1967. On Nov. 23, 1968, he married Mary Kay Wendel, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Ron (Abi), of North Dakota, and Richard (Lori), Celina; three daughters, Marie (Tom) Few, Winchester, Tenn., Jackie (Mike) Sudhoff, South Charleston, and Penny (Wes) Bogner, Dayton; two brothers, Lester (Lou), St. Henry, and Lavern (Ag), Coldwater; a sister, Mert (Fred) Kremer, West Lafayette, Ind.; seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
He retired from the former New Idea plant, Coldwater. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, its Holy Name Society and Knights of Columbus 1991, all of Coldwater.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Daniel Schmitmeyer officiating. Burial with military rites will be held at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
