* WHERE...The following counties, in Indiana, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union and Wayne, the following counties, in Kentucky, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson, and the following counties, in Ohio, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.

Ivan Barga
Ivan B. Barga, 86, of Union City, died Feb. 21, 2008, at his home.
He was born Nov. 27, 1921, in Darke County to Victor and Anna Mary Mangen Barga. On Jan. 5, 1946, he married Ella Mae Mestemaker, who survives.
Other survivors are two sons, Gary (Jane) and Jerry (Leigh Ann), all of Union City, Ind.; four daughters, Carol (Steve) Pestke, Dayton, Christa (Dave) Wendel, Portland, Ind., Janette (Randy) Minch, Bluffton, Ind., and Cynthia (Bill) Linder, Union City, Ohio; two brothers, Brother Adrian, Carthagena, and Duane, North Star; two sisters, Luella Echman, Sidney, and Mary Grieshop, New Bremen; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Deceased are five brothers, Vitalis "Si," Vernon, Eugene, Othor and the Rev. Louis; a sister, Thelma Welch; and a half sister, Dorothy Goubeaux.
He was a farmer. He served on the boards of The Equity Elevator, Fort Recovery, Mississinawa Valley School Board, Darke County Soil & Water Conservation and Farm Service Agency. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus, all of Union City, Ind.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church, the Rev. Mike McKinley officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Monday at Reichard Funeral Home, Union City, Ind.
Contributions can be made to the American Heart Association, Cancer Society or Diabetes Association, all of Darke County, or the Union City, Ohio, Fire & Rescue.
