Alice Burnett
Former St. Marys resident Alice M. Burnett, 89, died at 1:15 p.m. Feb. 26, 2008, at The Gardens of Celina.
She was born Sept. 28, 1918, in Delphos, to Edward and Myrtle Chapman Hirn. On Sept. 23, 1935, she married Elmer "Butch" Burnett, who died in June 1995.
Survivors are three sons, John "Jack" (Liz), Yuba City, Calif., David (Donna), Spencerville, and Timothy (Sandy), Somerset, Va.; two sons-in-law, Don Ruff, Ridgecrest, Calif., and Lee Sudman, St. Marys; 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
Deceased are two daughters, Lynda Sudman and Shirley Ann Ruff.
She worked as a telephone operator in Spencerville and Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., St. Marys, and was a homemaker on the family farm. She was a member of Walnut Grove United Methodist Church, St. Marys.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. May Kay Brown officiating. Burial is at Wright Cemetery, St. Marys.  
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
