Vera Fern Hoblet, 94, died Feb. 25, 2008, at Home Sweet Home Care Center of Michigan.

She was born Jan. 28, 1914, in Blackcreek Township, to William and Maude Purdy Lee. On Aug. 6, 1934, she married Norman Hoblet, who died March 7, 1982.?

Surviving is a sister-in-law, Janette Lee, Celina.

Deceased are two brothers, Carl S. and William Earl Lee; two sisters, Nora Proffitt and Cleo M. Applegate; and a sister-in-law Eileen Dellinger.

She had worked at the Corner Restaurant in Willshire and was a homemaker.

Services are 11 a.m. Thursday at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home, Rockford, the Rev. Mike Berne officiating. Burial is at Riverside Cemetery, Rockford.

Calling is one hour prior to services Thursday at the funeral home.
