Temperatures dropping to readings from the lower 30s to upper 30s along with light winds and clear skies will allow for patchy frost to develop in protected areas this morning.

Lowell Caywood
Lowell Edwin Caywood, 81, of Rockford, died March 7, 2008, at Van Wert County Hospital.
He was born April 22, 1926, in Van Wert County, to Delmer and Jessie Huffman Caywood. On August 8, 1953, he married Mary Lou Williams, who survives.
Other survivors are three sons, Jimmy LaDoyt, Van Wert, Randal Lee, Rockford and John (Angela) Caywood, Celina; three daughters, Leona (John) Hudson, Blissfield, Mich., Betty Lou Caywood, Rockford, and Deborah Sue (Richard) Thompson, Portland, Ind.; two sisters, Dorothy Mihm, Rockford, and Betty (Frank) Kuhn, Yorkshire; nine grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and three stepgreat-grandchildren.  
Deceased are two sisters, Mary Catherine Caywood and Frances Williams.
He had farmed and retired from TuWay American Group, Rockford, after 20 years. He was a member of the Olive Branch Church of God, Rockford, the Grand Lake Beagle Club, Celina, Jay County Beagle Club, Muncie, Ind., and Willshire Sportsman's Club.
Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home, Rockford, the Rev. Steve Waterman officiating. Burial is at Riverside Cemetery, Rockford.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
