Esther Roessner
Esther F. Roessner, 88, of Fort Recovery died at 12:40 p.m. March 9, 2008, at Briarwood Manor Nursing Home, Coldwater.
She was born Feb. 27, 1920, in Fort Recovery to Frederick and Anna Huelskamp Roessner.
Survivors are, a brother, Alvin, Arco, Idaho; two sisters, Helen Heitkamp and Irma (Ralph) Wuebker, all of Fort Recovery; a stepbrother, Paul Wehrle, the Philippines; three sisters-in-law, Peg (Melvin) Bergman and Verla Roessner, both of Fort Recovery, and Anna Lee (Jack) Kunkel, North Carolina.
Deceased are a stepmother, Clarice; six brothers, Harold, Norb, Tony, Linus, Charles and Joe; and a sister, Joan.
She had worked as a housekeeper for priests for 46 years.
She was a member of Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery, and its Altar Sodality and a member of the Catholic Knights of America Auxiliary, St. Joe.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Fort Recovery church, the Rev. Charles Mullen officiating. Burial is at St. Peter Cemetery, St. Peter.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
