Robert Coate
Former Celina resident Robert Allen Coate, 60, of Van Wert, died at 4:15 p.m. April 10, 2008, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater. Death was due to natural causes.
He was born Feb. 29, 1948, in Celina, to Elizabeth Coate.
Survivors are a daughter, Julie Renee Miller, Celina; three stepchildren, James O. Sevier, Union City, Ind.; Stephanie Sevier, Oxnard, Calif., and Pat J. Sanderson of Texas; two sisters, Janice Emans, Van Wert, and Chreena Fornear of Colorado; and three grandchildren.
He formerly worked at Wal-Mart in Celina, and attended New Life Christian Center, Celina.
Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Bill Lewis officiating.
Arrangements are being handled by Cowan & Son Funeral Home, Van Wert.
