Barbara Sanning
Barbara J. Sanning, 66, 415 E. Broadway St., Apt. A, Fort Recovery, died at 4:05 p.m. April 15, 2008, at her residence.
She was born July 25, 1941, in Portland, Ind., to Roy and Ethal Middaugh Rush. She married Norman Williamson in 1959 who died in 1980. On March 3, 1985, she married Robert Sanning, who died May 8, 1998.
Survivors are a daughter, Felicia (Lott) Holmes, Portland, Ind.; a stepson, Herb (Mary) Sanning, Crossville, Tenn.; a sister, Karen (Carol) Bechtol, Fort Recovery; a grandson; a great-grandson; four stepgrandchildren; and a stepgreat-grandchild.
Deceased are a brother, Larry Rigby; a sister, Betty June Rush; and a great-grandchild.
She was a member of the Fort Recovery Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and Fort Recovery United Methodist Church.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, the Rev. Robert Dungan officiating. Burial is at Greenville Township Memorial Gardens, Greenville.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Thursday and 9:30 a.m. until time of services Friday at the funeral home.
Contributions can be made to the State of the Heart Hospice or the Mercer County Cancer Association.
