Adrian Moneysmith Jr.
Adrian G. Moneysmith Jr., 76, 1611 Union City Road, Fort Recovery, died at 3:53 p.m. April 16, 2008, at Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie, Ind.
He was born Sept. 30, 1931, in Portland, Ind., to Adrian G. Sr. and Laura Imel Moneysmith. On June 2, 1955, he married Nancy Wangler, who survives.
Other survivors are two brothers, James (Bernice), Union City, and Everett, Portland; and three sisters, Ruth (Dave) Brinkerhoff, Wilma (John) and Dwanna (Bob) Axe, all of Portland.
Deceased is a sister, Esther Shauver.
He was a brick foreman for Peterson Construction, Wapakoneta. A U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, he was a member of the American Legion, Fort Recovery, Portland Golf Club, Bricklayers Local 22, Dayton, the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craft Workers, Washington, D.C., and Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery.
Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Thomas Dorn officiating. Burial is at St. Marys Cemetery, Fort Recovery, where military graveside honors will be conducted by the American Legion.
Calling is 9-10:30 a.m. Saturday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
