Scattered snow showers occurring across the area will slowly diminish through the evening. These snow showers will continue to cause brief reductions in visibility. In addition, as temperatures fall, the snow showers could produce a light coating of snow on roadways. This will result in the potential for some slick spots to develop. Motorists should be prepared for changing conditions this evening and exercise extra caution.

Niles Amey
Niles Travis Amey, 53, died April 26, 2008, in San Antonio,Texas. Death was due to natural causes.
He was born Feb. 15, 1955, in Celina, to Niles B. and Betty Amey, Defiance, who survive. On June 8, 1985, he married Michelle Bogan Amey, who survives.
Other survivors are two sons, Brink Davis and Maxwell Travis; a daughter, Hannah Rae, all at home.
He was a federal probation officer for over 20 years.
Services and burial were held April 30, 2008, in San Antonio, Texas.
Contributions can be made to Travis Amey Memorial Fund for the children's education, or the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association.
