MaLinda Williams
Former Mendon resident MaLinda L. Williams, 57, died at 4:35 p.m. May 16, 2008, at Lima Memorial Health System, Lima, following an extended illness.
She was born Feb. 13, 1951, in Celina to Don and Evelyn Baker Williams. Her mother survives at Shane Hill Nursing Home, Rockford, and her father is deceased.
Other survivors are five brothers, Terry (Sharon), Celina, Rick (Sandy), New Haven, Ind., Ted (Sue), Wapakoneta, Rob, Ohio City, and Tim (Deb), St. Marys.
She had worked at McDonald Industries in Spencerville and had been a cook at the Motor Inn Truck Stop, Mercer, for a number of years. She had attended school in the former Mendon-Union district.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Bill Drummond officiating. Private family burial is at a later date in Mendon Cemetery.
Calling is 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
