* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ripley, Union and Wayne and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...From 7 PM EDT this evening through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain will impact the area overnight. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts. The heavy rain combined with saturated ground will lead to potential flash flooding.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Norbert Verhoff
Norbert L. Verhoff, 78, of Continental died at 7:55 a.m. May 20, 2008, at his residence.
He was born Sept. 19, 1929, in Cuba, Ohio, to Fred and Elizabeth Ellerbrock Verhoff. On Nov. 11, 1953, he married Juanita Mae Fout, who survives in Continental.
Other survivors are five sons, Gary "Pup" and Randy, both of Continental, Kenneth (Sue), Ottawa, Keith (Linda), Mount Cory, and Bradley (Mary), New Bremen; a brother, Fred, Continental; a sister, Loretta Siebeneck, Lakeview; 10 grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a son, Ricky; two brothers, Cletus and Amos; three sisters, Eleanor Siebeneck, Louise Llewellyn and Lucille Kleman; and two grandchildren.
He was a retired truck driver and farmer. He was a former member of St. Isidore Catholic Church and its Holy Name Society, Cuba, and most recently was a member of St. Barbara's Catholic Church, Cloverdale. He also was a member of Ottawa Fraternal of Eagles.  
Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Friday at the Cloverdale church, the Rev. Robert Kill officiating. Burial is at St. Isidore Cemetery, Cuba.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Thursday at Heitmeyer Funeral Home, Continental, where a service will be held at 7:30 p.m.
