Stella Mangen
Stella Rosina Mangen, 91, of Coldwater, died at 12:40 p.m. July 4, 2008, at her home.
She was born Feb. 22, 1917, in New Weston, to Frank and Mary Evers Siefring. On Sept. 3, 1938, she married Paul Mangen, who died Sept. 21, 1985.
Survivors are three sons, Kenneth (Jean), Tipp City, Richard, Eaton, and John (Pat), Celina; five daughters, Charlene (Jerry) Schell, Cincinnati, Lois Swoverland, Fort Wayne, Ind., Linda (Wayne) Moore, Wapakoneta, Mary, Toledo, and Joyce (James) Meyer, Celina; 20 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two sons, Ronald and Charles, and an infant son, David; a brother, Albert Siefring; two sisters, Viola Morgan and Emma Brunswick; and a great-grandson.
She retired as a cook from Coldwater Exempted Village Schools. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and its St. Ann's Rosary Altar Sodality, of Coldwater.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church, the Rev. Richard Walling officiating. Burial is at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Monday and 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
