Aliceruth Kimmel
Former Rockford resident, Aliceruth Kimmel of Celina, died July 14, 2008, at Celina Manor Nursing Home.
She was born Jan. 17, 1923, in Maumee, to Virgil and Ruth King Edwards. On March 9, 1940, she married Edwin Kimmel, who died Aug. 26, 1995.
Survivors are three sons, Charles (Lynn), Noblesville, Ind., Dale (Judy), Green Valley, Calif., and Thomas (Kathy), Celina; a sister, Barbara Edwards, Phoenix, Ariz.; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a brother, Thomas Edwards.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Rockford United Methodist Church and its ladies organization. She attended St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Celina.
Services are 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Celina, the Rev. Kim Miller officiating. Burial is at Riverside Cemetery, Rockford.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to service at the church.
Contributions can be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
